Kristen Angus has been appointed as VisitBritain’s new Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand, bringing more than 15 years of experience with the tourism body to the role.

VisitBritain’s five-day Australian trade mission kicked off in Sydney this morning, which will see dozens of British travel trade and industry suppliers meet with top buyers from Australia to do business.

As part of British Airways’ investment plan, the airline is set to revamp lounges across its network, starting with the opening of a new lounge in Rome’s Fiumicino Airport. The lounge follows a new design concept for the airline featuring the best of British and European design.
