The global cruise industry has weathered a battering over the past few months in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Almost all cruise companies, whether it be ocean, river or expedition, have halted operation until late June 2020 due to mandates abroad and national domestic and international travel bans. But despite the current COVID-19 turmoil, the cruise market is likely to be the sector of the travel and tourism industry that will recover the fastest, predicts Michael Londregan, Managing Director of Virtuoso Asia Pacific.

Top luxury travel agencies and partner suppliers across the Asia Pacific Region have been awarded at the Virtuoso network’s Asia Pacific Forum held in Beijing where more than 60 members gathered for two days of workshops and events.

This year’s Virtuoso APAC Luxury Award winners include Goldman Travel, MTA and Savenio for production and Country Holidays, FBI Travel and Mosman Travel for growth. The awards also recognise the region’s top hotel, cruise and tour partners.
