Viking’s newest ship for the Nile River — the 82-guest Viking Sobek — has been “floated out,” marking a major construction milestone and the first time the ship has touched water.

Viking has released 99 new departure dates for its Egypt river voyage in response to strong demand. With the current seasons almost sold out, Viking’s highly popular 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary now has increased availability in 2024 and 2025.
