InterContinental Hotels Group PLC this week reported a “strong performance” for its half year results to 30 June 2024. The hospitality company’s revenue on reportable segments rose 7% compared to H1 2023 to US$1.108 billion, with operating profit increasing 12% to US$535 million.

IHG Hotels & Resorts will debut the first Vignette Collection hotel in Indonesia. Rumah Luwih Bali with its 74 rooms and suites will join the IHG system later this year, before fully converting to a Vignette Collection property in 2024 following an extensive refurbishment.

IHG Hotels & Resorts is expecting to broaden its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio by more than 50 hotels in 24 countries this year. Within the high-end space, IHG operates Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Hotel Indigo and the recently launched Vignette Collection.
