A new Belmond rail journey will connect Paris with its Tuscany farm estate from May 2025 aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient Express.

Belmond has unveiled the interiors of L’Observatoire, a new artist-designed carriage which will join its Venice Simplon-Orient Express in March 2025.

Belmond has revealed plans for a new cabin category aboard the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe – eight new Suites will join the rake from June 2023, bringing new heights of luxury and comfort to the original legend of the rails.

Belmond has released a collection of distinctive private escapes across its portfolio of hotels, trains and cruises. The diverse collection of experiences range from private grand suites aboard a luxury sleeper train to sun-soaked villas on the best beach in the Caribbean, characterful cottages in California gardens and a family charter of a river barge for a slow meander along the canals in France.

Belmond has announced a special event for the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will take place in late March 2020, curated in partnership with Private Drama Events.

Belmond has revealed it will create three new Grand Suites for the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the 2020 season. The new suites, Vienna, Prague and Budapest, are named after iconic European cities the train travels to every year.

This year, Captain’s Choice, curators of some of the world’s most life-enriching travel experiences, will introduce an extraordinary new cultural adventure, ‘The Art Journey’. Created in collaboration with Morry Schwartz, owner of The Saturday Paper and The Monthly, the journey takes travellers to the centre of the art world, beginning in Paris with an immersion in the arts scene and moving to Italy for a true insider’s view of the Venice Biennale, and finishing in Milan with a tour of the city’s private collections and fashion shows.

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), the world’s leading luxury group and Belmond, owners, part-owners or managers of 46 luxury hotel, restaurant, train and river cruise properties, have announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for LVMH to acquire Belmond.
