The Travel Industry Mentor Experience’s (TIME) Adelaide community and curious industry professionals gathered at Journey Beyond for an after-work session of networking and mentoring, fuelled by lashings of generously supplied refreshments.

Another lively TIME gathering took place in Melbourne last week, with Travel Counsellors hosting an evening of networking and inspiration fuelled by a generously laden spread of food and refreshments.

To mark Spencer Travels’ 20-year anniversary this week, it’s only fitting that LATTE expands our questioning with Penny Spencer to 20 Questions, covering off her start in the industry, the establishment of her own business, some of the challenges that she faced, the importance of mentoring, her inspiration, favourite hotel and more.

Global online payments juggernaut, PayPal, has named the recipient of its inaugural TIME scholarship: Stephanie Cowdroy, Finance Manager at Brisbane’s GlobeNet Travel. Stephanie will commence her mentoring experience alongside 10 other ambitious mentees in TIME’s final intake for 2018, commencing on 5 September.
