Nobu Hotel Toronto will be opening its doors this summer. Following the headline-hitting success of its Toronto restaurant opening in August 2024 – and its luxury residences selling out in record time – the hotel is now available for online reservations from 1 June 2025.

Air Canada is preparing to reinstate 34 international routes from March 2022 across the Atlantic and Pacific, concurrently restoring dozens of transborder point-to-points over the US border.

Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Canada will celebrate its 90th anniversary this year and mark the occasion with a majestic transformation, honouring the icon’s timeless grandeur while elevating it into a new era of luxury. In the final and most exciting phase of a multi-year renovation, the highly-anticipated reveal will include transformed arrival and check-in experience, newly imagined dining venues, contemporary event and meeting spaces, and a completely redefined Fairmont Gold, presenting the finest luxury hotel offerings and services in the city. The grand renovation will be completed summer 2019, in time for the hotel’s official anniversary celebration.

The 65-storey hotel boasts 258 spacious guest rooms, including 124 luxury suites – the most suites of any luxury hotel in Canada – where modern elegance and bespoke service come together.

A potpourri of trees blends perfectly with traditional decades-old houses and a modern block that should never have got planning permission (by contrast, Toronto’s even-younger skyrises are up there with the best architectural shapes anywhere). People from all over the world seem to live in harmony here. Blue plastic litter bins do not exactly blend in, but they are not out of place in front of a couture house offering all-white gowns, for weddings and other events.

The new flight, which will operate three times a week, will be British Airways’ first flight to Canada from Gatwick.
