Link Travel Group hosted its first event since launching in May as a joint venture between Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT), The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies.

Link Travel Group – the network founded by Flight Centre Travel Group, The Goldman Group and Spencer Group of Companies in May – has welcomed six of Australia’s best-known agencies to its invitation-only membership group.

The Goldman Group has capped off a rewarding week at the 2019 Virtuoso Travel Week with Joint Managing Director, Anthony Goldman, lauded with the luxury travel network’s award for Most Admired Advisor – Asia Pacific.

As the globetrotting habits of Australian travellers continue to evolve – from venturing to far-flung destinations such as Rwanda or Costa Rica, to visiting destinations based on how “Instagram friendly” they appear – keeping up with Australian travellers is no easy feat.

The classic Australian song, ‘I’ve Been Everywhere’, has long captured the inherent spirit of antipodean travellers. With longer annual holidays, higher disposable income and a keener sense of adventure than many other nationalities, Australians are widely considered among the world’s most prolific travellers.

Celebrating 35 years in the travel industry this year, The Goldman Group held its Biennial conference on 23–25 November at Peppers Noosa Resort. Attended by 120 staff members and supplier partners, the conference was an opportunity for staff, preferred partners and suppliers to convene for company updates, networking and professional development sessions.
