Aurora Expeditions’ new vessel, Douglas Mawson, has been launched at a ceremony in Haimen, China – the seventh and final vessel in SunStone Maritime Group’s Infinity Class series.

SunStone Maritime Group has announced a long-term summer charter of its Infinity vessel, Ocean Victory, with a new client. From April 2025, the Ocean Victory will sail in the Mediterranean during northern hemisphere summer seasons for new Spanish luxury cruise operator, Alma Cruceros.

SunStone Maritime Group has accepted delivery of its sixth Infinity class ship, Ocean Albatros, which will be chartered year-round to Albatros Expeditions.

SunStone Ships, the company utilising the distinctive Ulstein-design bow on the hull of expedition ships it charters to the likes of Aurora Expeditions and Albatros Expeditions, is on the cusp of announcing a new series of up to 10 vessels.

SunStone Maritime Group has accepted delivery of ships four and five of its Infinity Class fleet, to be operated as Sylvia Earle, by Aurora Expeditions and Ocean Odyssey by Vantage Cruise Line.
