South African Airways (SAA) is responding to increasing demand by boosting the frequency of its nonstop flights between Perth and Johannesburg. From 8 December 2024, SAA will increase the frequency of its nonstop South Africa-Australia connection to four flights per week, with a further increase to five flights per week beginning 7 January 2025.

After a four-year absence, South African Airways (SAA) this week resumed flights to Australia with a new Perth to Johannesburg service on the popular route that is already posting healthy load factors.

South African Airways has scheduled a return to Perth, with flights from Johannesburg to the Western Australia capital scheduled to commence on 28 April 2024.
