Silversea’s ultra-luxury flagship, Silver Nova, has made its way down to Sydney, with its arrival marking its debut in the Harbour City.

Silver Nova, the first ship in Silversea’s Nova class, has arrived in Australia for the first time, kicking off a summer that will be spent in local waters.

Silver Nova, the first of two innovative Nova-class ships from Silversea, has completed its inaugural season in Alaska of 19 voyages between May and September 2024, across 133 days. Departing Alaska, Silver Nova is now en route for Asia-Pacific for the first time.

Silversea has revealed details of the the S.A.L.T. program to be offered aboard Silver Nova when she makes her Asia Pacific debut later this month. The first of two innovative Nova-class ships, Silver Nova will cruise the region’s waters from September 2024 until April 2025.

Silversea has officially named Silver Ray, the second ship in its innovative Nova Class. Silver Ray has a capacity of 728-passengers and a bold, asymmetrical design which creates wide open spaces and vast breathtaking views of destinations it visits.

Silversea’s Silver Nova has arrived in Alaska for the first time, embarking on a series of week-long voyages between now and 5 September.

Silversea officially named Silver Nova® during a ceremony in Fort Lauderdale on 4 January, honouring maritime traditions to welcome the ‘Ship of Light’ to its fleet. Billed by Silversea as the most environmentally conscious ultra-luxury ship ever built, the 728-guest Silver Nova strengthens Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to delivering the world’s best vacations, responsibly.

Following its successful debut aboard Silver Dawn℠in 2022, the Otium℠ wellness program has evolved aboard the newest ship in the Silversea™ fleet, Silver Nova®, to include an even wider array of indulgent experiences and amenities.

Silversea this week celebrated a “phenomenal year” with an event in Sydney to also mark the launch of its ‘Myths & Treasures’ voyage collection for 2025/26 that opened to general sale on Tuesday this week. The program will include Silversea’s first S.A.L.T. experience in Australasian waters, with a designer menu still to be crafted.

Silversea has opened an exclusive pre-sale on its Winter 2025/2026 voyage collection, comprising over 150 new sailings to more than 200 destinations. Departing between September 2025 and April 2026, the new voyages unlock new experiences in highly coveted regions and rarely visited destinations on all-new sailings — including nine maiden calls. Two new grand voyages feature among the collection’s numerous highlights, offering guests even deeper immersion into Australia and the South Pacific.

Comprising approximately 1,800 pieces by 59 artists from 25 countries, the art collection of Silver Nova is the largest of any ship in the history of Silversea. Taking guests on a visual journey that sparks curiosity and stimulates their desire for exploration, the art program brings together an international collection of works — most of which were commissioned for specific locations aboard Silver Nova to complement the ship’s many architectural innovations.
