Silversea has unveiled the first spaces and name of The Cormorant at 55 South, its new 150-room hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile. Announced late last, the property is scheduled to open during the 2025/2026 Antarctica season. Upon completion, Silversea’s new hotel will create a convenient, comfortable and seamless way to visit Antarctica.

Silversea has revealed it is developing a hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile – the southernmost city on Earth – expected to open to guests for the 2025/26 Antarctica season.

Silversea will launch Puerto Williams, Chile, as its new departure port for Silver Explorer’s expedition cruises to the White Continent, from November 2021.
