PONANT has confirmed its project with Paspaley Group to operate the luxury motor yacht PASPALEY PEARL, is no longer proceeding, LATTE can reveal.

PASPALEY PEARL has successfully completed her sea trials off Fremantle in Western Australia, marking a significant milestone ahead of the boutique expedition yacht’s upcoming multi-million-dollar refurbishment.

PASPALEY PEARL by PONANT has released its inaugural digital brochure, detailing the transformative experiences curated for the 30-guest expedition yacht. Commencing operations in January 2025 the new boutique yacht will feature a new immersive level of expeditions when operating through East Indonesia, The Kimberley and Papua New Guinea.

Industry veteran of more than 30 years, Deb Corbett, will bring her three core life values to her new role as Chief Executive Officer at PONANT Asia Pacific, revealed yesterday to the industry. Speaking exclusively with LATTE, the always enthusiastic and ‘open book’ Corbett said she’ll be bringing “respect, trust and unity” to the table as she steps into the position this month, left vacant by the departing Chris Hall.

PONANT has announced the promotion of Deb Corbett to the position of Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, amid a number of changes within the regional team. Corbett has been with PONANT for seven years, most recently as General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Asia Pacific. With 30 years industry experience, PONANT says Corbett is well positioned to take on the key leadership role in APAC.
