Silversea has officially named Silver Ray, the second ship in its innovative Nova Class. Silver Ray has a capacity of 728-passengers and a bold, asymmetrical design which creates wide open spaces and vast breathtaking views of destinations it visits.

Silversea celebrated the float out of its second Nova-class ship, Silver Ray, at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany on 25 February.

Royal Caribbean Group and Silversea Cruises executives enjoyed a sneak preview of Silver Nova this week in Eemshaven, Netherlands. Billed as “the most environmentally conscious ultra-luxury cruise ship ever built”, the dignitaries were given an extensive tour of the ship ahead of her inaugural sailing on 14 August 2023.

Silversea Cruises has officially begun the construction of Silver Ray℠, the second ship in the Nova class, holding a traditional steel cutting ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, on 23 November 2022.

Silversea Cruises has opened pre-sale reservations for Silver Nova, the ultra-luxury cruise line’s first vessel in its new Nova class of ships.
