Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has launched two new itineraries that bring flexibility and choice to travellers seeking to experience The White Continent.

Lindblad Expeditions has released four additional Antarctica departures for the 2022/23 season aboard National Geographic Resolution. The voyages are all set for early season October/November voyages, as the austral summer is dawning, and this frozen world is springing to life.

Lindblad Expeditions celebrated the launch of the company’s second new polar vessel, National Geographic Resolution, on her inaugural voyage to Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falklands.

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has resumed operations in Antarctica for the 2021/22 season – marking the company’s return to service to the White Continent since the pandemic.

Lindblad Expeditions has accepted delivery of National Geographic Resolution from Ulstein Verft, marking the official completion of the line’s second polar new build. The vessel is now ready to set off for her inaugural polar voyage on 17 November 2021 to Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falklands.

Ship designer and builder, Ulstein Group, has successfully completed the sea trials of the second X-Bow hulled Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic ship – National Geographic Resolution.

Lindblad Expeditions’ inaugural voyage on its polar expedition ship, National Geographic Endurance, will commence from 21 July 2021 out of Reykjavik, Iceland.

Lindblad Expeditions marked another major milestone as the hull of National Geographic Resolution, the line’s second polar new-build, arrived at Ulstein Shipyard in Ulsteinvik Norway last weekend, following the construction of the main hull steelwork at CRIST S.A. in Gydnia, Poland.

Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, Inc and shipbuilder and designer Ulstein Group have celebrated the keel laying of Lindblad’s second polar new build at the Crist shipyard in Gdynia, Poland. The occasion also served as the official naming ceremony of the vessel.
