National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has introduced a series of modern expedition cruising with a series of chartered voyages exploring the undersea and shoreside wonders of Indonesia aboard the Aqua Blu.

Lindblad is contemplating the further expansion of its fleet as the expedition cruise line reported record third quarter results which “set the stage for another year of double digit growth in 2024″.

Azamara has revealed a collection of new day tours by National Geographic that will be available for guests commencing this month.Through a partnership with Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, Azamara will initially offer nine National Geographic Day Tours that will explore the culture and history of destinations through the content and research of National Geographic.

Lindblad Expeditions has locked in a long-term extension and expansion of the brand’s strategic relationship with National Geographic. Under the new deal, the two companies have extended their 20-year relationship for 17 additional years, with a commitment through 2040.

National Geographic Expeditions has launched the first phase of its 2024 travel portfolio, including the complete river cruise lineup. In collaboration with AmaWaterways, three National Geographic Expeditions-chartered departures will offer an in-depth exploration through Europe’s historic waterways.

Shipbuilder Ulstein has announced that the sea trials for the next Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic ship were successfully carried out last weekend.

National Geographic Expeditions will add eight new itineraries and three new destinations to its Journeys program, operated in partnership with G Adventures, in 2020. Now in its fifth year, the National Geographic Journeys  explore the history, culture and natural heritage of a destination.

The Havannah Vanuatu has been accepted as a member of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World: one of only four in Australia and the Pacific.

National Geographic and G Adventures have introduced a range of trips called National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures. The program comprises 12 trips and feature unique National Geographic-inspired experiences for children and adults to connect as a family.

Lindblad Expeditions has signed an agreement with Norwegian shipbuilder and ship designer Ulstein to build a new polar vessel, expanding the line’s National Geographic polar fleet to four ships.
