Luxury Lodges of Australia has outlined the planned reopening dates of its member partners which had tentatively paused operations in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and imposed government travel restrictions.

Northern Escape Collection’s newest Queensland retreat, Mt Mulligan Lodge, has joined the Luxury Lodges of Australia (LLoA) collection.

Queensland’s newest outback luxury lodge, Mt Mulligan Lodge, has set an official opening date of 15 April 2019. The lodge accepted guests during a short soft-opening period at the end of 2018 through to early January.

Located on a 28,000-hectare outback property, guests staying at Mt Mulligan Lodge will be able to experience the spirit of North Queensland’s backcountry through a unique landscape and a place where people have lived and worked for tens of thousands of years. The new lodge will soft open in late December/early January.
