With recent openings in Paris, Cape Town, Dallas, Osaka, Costa Rica, Jordan, and more, Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle brands have opened their 1,000th hotel globally. This milestone follows a record year of growth for Hilton, punctuated by strategic partnerships, acquisitions and nearly 100,000 rooms added to Hilton’s portfolio.

It’s been a record-breaking year of growth for Hilton’s luxury brands, with the hotel giant opening more than 500 properties around the world under its various high-end monikers.

Hilton has revealed the new name for its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Hawaii – the former Trump International Waikiki – as Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts.

The Trump International Hotel, Waikiki will rebrand under Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts portfolio after real estate firm Irongate acquired a significant buyout of the hotel management and license agreements to the Hawaiian property. The luxury property will undergo a brand transformation and will rebrand as Wākea Waikiki Beach, joining LXR Hotels & Resorts in February 2024.

LXR Hotels & Resorts has signed its first property in the United Arab Emirates, a brand-new private island resort in Abu Dhabi. Al Nawras Island, LXR Hotels & Resorts will offer 80 beach and water villas as well as a 450-square-metre, two-bedroom Royal Villa.

LXR Hotels & Resorts, a luxury brand of Hilton, has earmarked a late 2022 debut in South East Asia with a property in Bali, Indonesia. The all-villa resort, currently trading as Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort (formerly Banyan Tree Ungasan Resort Bali), will join a steadily growing portfolio of LXR properties located in London, Santa Monica, Dubai, Bodrum, Las Vegas, Seychelles, Seattle, Kyoto and Anguilla.

LXR Hotels & Resorts – one of three luxury brands within the Hilton portfolio – has officially debuted in Asia Pacific this week with the opening of ROKU KYOTO. The property also represents Hilton’s inaugural property in Kyoto, Japan.

The Hilton portfolio of brands has signed its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property management deal for the US Pacific Northwest.

LXR Hotels & Resorts has this week expanded its stable with the doors opening to Mango House Seychelles, an intimate and exclusive island oasis on southern Mahé’s unspoiled beachfront.

LXR Hotels & Resorts will add the Seychelles to its growing global presence in early 2021. Hilton’s independent collection of luxury properties operating under the brand plans to open Mango House Seychelles on Mahé island in early 2021. It will be the fourth Hilton managed property in the destination.

Hilton has revealed its first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Asia-Pacific will be Roku Kyoto, LXR Hotels & Resorts. The Japanese resort will be part of the 28.6-acre Shozan Resort Kyoto, a luxury enclave currently home to some of Kyoto’s most notable and idyllic Japanese gardens, historic architecture and authentic tea houses.

The first hotel in Turkey under the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, Hilton’s collection of independent luxury properties, has opened six kilometres from downtown Bodrum.
