Lindblad is contemplating the further expansion of its fleet as the expedition cruise line reported record third quarter results which “set the stage for another year of double digit growth in 2024″.

Lindblad Expeditions Holdings’ Board of Directors has appointed Andrew “Andy” Stuart, celebrated cruise industry executive, and Annette Reavis, innovative people leader, as two new independent directors.

Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has chartered the 88-guest tall ship, Sea Cloud II, for seven sailings in May, August and September 2024. The move follows a similar charter of Sea Cloud in the Mediterranean this year.

Lindblad Expeditions is ratcheting up capacity in Alaska for the 2022 season. With the 62-guest National Geographic Sea Bird almost sold-out, the company has added sister ship, National Geographic Sea Lion, and a slate of additional departure dates, to meet demand.

Small ship expeditions cruise and adventure travel operator, Lindblad Expeditions, is planning to resume operations for the 2021 season in Alaska and the Galápagos in June.
