ILTM North America announced a handful of the luxury travel agencies attending the conference, held 6-8 October at Baha Mar in the Bahamas.

This year’s International Luxury Travel Market Asia Pacific event will welcome more than 740 carefully selected luxury travel buyers from 22 countries across the region to meet with 740 luxury travel suppliers from across the globe. It represents a 12% increase year on year making it one of the largest ILTM shows to date.

Wellness will be one of the major themes of this year’s International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Asia Pacific, the show’s Director Alison Gilmore has revealed.

Last week’s ILTM Cannes – the 23rd edition of the luxury travel event which ran from 2-5 December 2024 – set a new record, with more than 85,000 scheduled meetings taking place. ILTM Cannes’ popularity shows the stedfast strength of the luxury travel, with over 10,000 attendees – growing 12%.

Accor’s new travel advisor loyalty and rewards program, HERA, has proven to be a huge success since its roll out online seven weeks ago. HERA, Accor Travel Advisor Program is the latest trade program launched by Accor and includes more brands, more features and more capabilities compared to the former platform, as well as an enhanced digital experience with easy and efficient online tools for booking, tracking and reviewing activity.

Windstar Cruises has delayed its inaugural season in the Middle East, likely due to the conflict in Israel and the Gaza Strip, releasing a winter season in the Mediterranean instead. Star Legend will now offer itineraries between December 2023 and April 2024, sailing to ports including Barcelona, Nice, Florence/Livorno, Marseille and Rome. The ship will also be showcased in Cannes during the annual luxury travel showcase, ILTM Cannes.

ILTM Asia Pacific celebrated its most prolific event since 2019 this week in Singapore, welcoming 500 luxury travel suppliers from across the world to meet with 500 accredited regional agents representing their high-net-worth clients across 25 countries in the region, including Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Over 28,000 business-generating appointments took place and a spirit of true optimism emanated throughout the week.
