Global luxury tour operator ID Travel Group (ID) has acquired Melbourne-based tour operator and experts in Fiji and the South Pacific, Island Escapes. The sale will see the 21-year-old Australian business join the ID Travel Group family from 1 October 2024.

ID Travel Group formally introduced its newest destination to Australian travel advisors this week during its first local roadshow in three years. The New York-headquartered B2B accommodation specialist has added Africa to its list of global locations, with a portfolio of close to 200 lodges, hotels and resorts.
