Hyatt has revealed plans to debut two Hyatt-branded hotels in Jaumur, one of Magna’s destinations in Saudi Arabia, located on the coast of Gulf of Aqaba.

Hyatt’s boutique lifestyle hospitality brand, Thompson Hotels, has opened its maiden property in the US capital: Thompson Washington DC. Located in the emerging Navy Yard neighbourhood, the new hotel features 225 sleek guestrooms and suites, less than one mile from Capitol Hill and other major D.C. monuments and museums.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that an agreement has been made with Galaxy Entertainment Group to develop the first Andaz property in Macau, China. The hotel is expected to open in the first half of 2021 as part of the expanding Galaxy Integrated Resorts precinct.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation will add 21 new luxury hotels and resorts in Asia Pacific by the end of 2020, fueling Hyatt’s brand expansion in the region. This expansion is comprised of seven Park Hyatt branded properties, six hotels each under the Grand Hyatt and Andaz brands and two Alila branded resorts, boosting Hyatt’s luxury portfolio in the region by more than 25%.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is buying international lifestyle hotel management company, Two Roads Hospitality, which owns boutique and lifestyle hotel Joie de Vivre Hotels, Thompson Hotels, Destination Hotels, tommie and Alila Hotels & Resorts. Two Roads also has a pipeline of other projects around the globe.
