Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a new Park Hyatt hotel for Sapporo. Scheduled to open in 2029, the hotel will be situated in the economic and cultural centre of the Hokkaido Prefecture in northern Japan. It will be the fourth Park Hyatt branded hotel in the country, complementing Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, a luxury mountain retreat located in Hokkaido’s leading ski resort.

Club Med has confirmed it will open its next Japan ski resort, Club Med Kiroro Grand, this December. The new property on Japan’s north island of Hokkaido will further establish the Club Med brand as the leading all-inclusive pioneer with 20 mountain resorts throughout the Alps, Canada and Asia.
