Okinawa is a unique part of Japan, completely different to any other part of the country. For centuries, the Ryukyu Kingdom was the crossroads of many cultures as they passed through on their trading routes and this influence has made the local culture here unlike anything else your clients may have experienced on any previous trips to Japan.

Honolulu-based luxury hotel and resort brand Halekulani will look to export the brand to new markets outside of Hawaii and Japan over the next five years under an “aggressive expansion program”. The strategy will also involve Halekulani’s new sister ‘legacy brand’, Halepuna.

Halekulani Okinawa, the second Halekulani hotel, has this week opened for reservations for guests arriving 26 July, 2019.
