New Year promo available on eligible itineraries from April to August
Rocky Mountaineer is offering guests who book SilverLeaf a complimentary upgrade to GoldLeaf on eligible Canadian itineraries in 2022, when booking by 31 January 2022. The promotion, available for all travel dates this year except September, represents a saving of $1,700 (CAD$1,500) per couple.

Continuing travel restrictions and uncertainty cause for new one-month delay
Rocky Mountaineer has pushed back the restart of its Canadian operation in 2021 by another month, with a new flagged relaunch date of 5 July. The decision comes a month after the company moved its regular-season start date of mid-April to 1 June.

Government travel and health restrictions bring early end to 2020 operation
Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer has confirmed the suspension of its 2020 season as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and continued government travel and health restrictions. All departures through to 11 October, 2020 have been abandoned.

Peaks & Perks credit on eight-day packages
For a limited time, travellers booking eligible 2019 Rocky Mountaineer packages will receive up to $800 per couple to help create their ultimate Rocky Mountaineer experience. Qualifying packages in both GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf Service of eight days or more will receive a $400 bonus for each guest ($800 per couple), and shorter packages of five to seven days will receive a $250 bonus for each guest ($500 per couple).

Flight Centre, Infinity and APT troupe given first peak at new luxury rail cars
A group of 11 from Flight Centre, APT and Infinity have taken a first look at Rocky Mountaineer’s newest fleet of custom made GoldLeaf railcars this week in Berlin. Rail company Stadler have custom-built the 10 new bi-level glass domed carriages for Rocky Mountaineer at their Reinickendorf-based facility.
