Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has not one, but two properties on the horizon in Australia, with announcements for major cities to be revealed before the end of the year. One of those is almost certainly Sydney.

Speculation several months ago that Accor would be introducing the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand to the Australian market for the first time have proven to be true with the hospitality giant confirming its vision to open a luxury property in Far North Queensland in 2023.

Hospitality giant Accor appears set to introduce the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand to the Australian market, with reports circulating that the French juggernaut has inked a deal with Melbourne property developer, Chiodo Corporation, to operate the Fairmont Port Douglas in Queensland.
