Emerald Cruises has introduced a new African safari component to its Seychelles deployment in late 2024/early 2025. Operating from Nairobi to Mahe, the new 16-day ‘Safari and Seychelles’ comprises seven nights in Kenya (six of which are on safari), married with seven nights aboard Emerald Azzurra, priced from $14,545 per person.

Emerald Cruises’ first ocean luxury yacht, Emerald Azzurra, was named in an intimate ceremony in Venice, Italy on 28 May 2022. In attendance were Glen Moroney, Founder and Chairman of Scenic Group (of which the Emerald Cruises brand is included), his wife Karen Moroney, Director of Project Design; along with embarking guests, key senior Emerald Cruises staff and local dignitaries.

Emerald Cruises has taken delivery of Emerald Azzurra, the first of the brand’s two superyachts. Departing Ha Long Shipyard in Vietnam this week, the 100-guest luxury yacht is headed to Aqaba, Jordan, where it will welcome guests onboard its inaugural sailing on 11 March 2022.

Emerald Cruises has confirmed plans to operate a series of week-long superyacht voyages in the Middle East between late January and April 2023.
