Mandarin Oriental has confirmed it will take over management of the former One&Only Desaru Coast ultra-luxury resort on the south-eastern coast of Malaysia.

One&Only has opened its first resort in Asia this week. The ultra-luxe One&Only Desaru Coast features two themed suite styles, Rainforest and Ocean, with either available as a Junior Suite or Grand Suite, all with either a private plunge pool or lap pool. For guests seeking more space, One&Only Desaru Coast also has a four-bedroom, 1,500 square-metre Villa with its own 27-metre pool. This ‘Pinnacle of Luxury’ includes ample indoor and outdoor living areas, along with a private spa and treatment room.

Anantara Hotels Resorts Spas has opened the brand’s first luxury hotel in Malaysia. Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is located on the shores of the country’s south-eastern coastline with authentic luxury and indigenous-inspired hospitality.

One&Only Resorts has revealed the opening date for its first Asian property, One&Only Desaru Coast. Located on the south-eastern shoreline of Malaysia and set between lush rainforests and the South China Sea, One&Only Desaru Coast will welcome guests from 23 March 2020.
