Carnival Corporation has overnight announced a number of moves within its global leadership team, including the departure of Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn.

Cruise industry heavyweights discussed the planned path for the reintroduction of cruising from US ports with American Vice President Mike Pence on Friday [10 October 2020].

Seabourn President, Richard Meadows, will retire from the top job at the end of this month after nine years in the role. Meadows has been with Carnival Corporation for 35 years.

Marshall Lancaster has been appointed as Chief Information Officer for the professional services division supporting Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises Australia and Carnival Australia. In the role, Marshall will oversee the entire information technology portfolio for the four cruise brands.

Multiple new and upgraded terminals won approval last week at Florida’s “Cruise Capital of the World”, PortMiami. Developments for Virgin Voyages, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and Carnival Corporation were all given the go ahead by the commissioners of Miami-Dade County.

The ’Dubai Cruise Terminal’ at Dubai Harbour will become Carnival Corporation’s primary hub for its homeporting and transit operations in the region. The partnership will also result in both parties working together to identify and grow the cruise tourism business in the Arabian Gulf region.
