Banyan Tree, a luxury hospitality brand of Accor, will open its first resort in North America after signing a management contract to operate Banyan Tree Bimini Resort & Residences in the Bahamas.

Here’s your first look at Virgin Voyages’ private destination hub in the Caribbean – The Beach Club at Bimini. Centred around an expansive central lagoon-style pool, the beach club is a resort-like experience designed for relaxation and sits on the westernmost part of the Bahamian islands.

Next month she starts her sea trials, and in less than 200 days Virgin Voyages’ first of four ocean cruise ships, Scarlet Lady, will enter service under the startup cruise line’s “epic sea change”.
