Avalon Waterways christened its 14th Suite Ship in Europe last week – Avalon View – during a ceremony in Bratislava, Slovakia. US Emmy Award-winning host, executive producer and anchor, Meredith Vieira, was bestowed with the honour of christening the 166-passenger ship.

Avalon Waterways has revealed that Meredith Vieira, 15-time Emmy Award-winning host, executive producer and anchor, will christen the Avalon View as godmother on the Danube River in 2020.

Avalon Waterways has confirmed it will add a 14th Suite Ship to its European fleet in 2020, called Avalon View. The announcement comes ahead of the delivery of Avalon Envision in April this year.
