Ahoy Club, owned by the Malouf family, has taken a significant stake in Ray White Marine, a leading player in the luxury yachting industry headed up by the Rodwell family.

Virtuoso Preferred partner, Ahoy Club Yacht Charters, recently treated a group of luxury travel advisors, along with the Virtuoso hierarchy – including Chairman and CEO Matthew Upchurch – to lunch at the extravagant ANZ Residence towering over the Sydney CBD.

Virtuoso’s new regional program devised in Australia is providing a footpath for local suppliers to access the luxury network’s global database of travel advisors. The new partnerships, revealed exclusively by LATTE last month, have provided suppliers with an alternative to dumping inventory with online package specialists, says Adrian Clarke, Virtuoso’s Marketing & Commercial Manager, Asia Pacific.

Ahoy Club has announced the addition of the largest ever commercial superyacht in Australia. In November 2019 the company will welcome the 54m Mischief to Australian shores, with the company citing growing demand for the superyacht charter market in the country.
