Lark Hotels opened their newest addition, Field Guide, on 1 October 2015 in Stowe village, Vermont, just minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort’s famed slopes. The luxury lodge is the first boutique hotel of its kind in the year-round vacation hot spot.
Guests of Field Guide will receive:
- A hard-copy field guide and a fully loaded iPad that serve as virtual tour guides to all that Stowe and the Mount Mansfield area have to offer, including outdoor recreation, art galleries, shopping, craft beer distilleries and nationally acclaimed restaurants.
- Heated swimming pool
- Outdoor Jacuzzi gazebo
- Guest lounge with two fireplaces
- Vintage nature magazines
- An array of games
Interior designer Rachel Reider created guest accommodations and common areas. Field Guide includes 30 guest rooms, 13 of which are suites with living room fireplaces and most with deep bathtubs.
Scheduled to arrive in winter 2016 will be Picnic Social, Field Guide’s signature restaurant and lounge, including comfort food, craft beers and spirits.
Lark Hotels’ next move is to Salem, MA. Opening 25 November 2015, The Merchant will feature 11 guestrooms and common spaces also designed by Reider.
