Agents can book their customers on an extended summer holiday and make the most of direct flight sale fares with a trip to the Cook Islands in 2016.

From 27 November to 10 December, fares for the weekly direct Sydney to Cook Islands services with Air New Zealand are priced from $299/seat per person one way (including taxes) for travel outbound 23 January to 2 April 2016 or 23 April to 25 June 2016, and returning 29 January to 8 April 2016 or 29 April to 1 July 2016.

The weekly direct flight departs Sydney on Saturday evening and lands 6 hours later on the capital island of Rarotonga; having crossed the dateline travellers arrive on Saturday morning in time for a full day of exploring.

Australian travellers can discover the untouched beauty of the Cook Islands and the warm interaction with the locals: share in their Polynesian lifestyle at Rarotonga’s bustling Punanga Nui Markets or welcoming Sunday church services and flamboyant cultural shows. Snorkel, dive, cruise or stand-up paddleboard the turquoise lagoons or indulge in some adventure on land by cycling the coconut tree lined roads, hiking cross-island through the tropical terrain or trekking up to the highest peaks of the island by 4WD.

Cook Islands Tourism has a host of air and land packages to Rarotonga and its sister islands Aitutaki and Atiu.

Sale ends 10 December 2015.
