Flying directly into Antarctica from Punta Arenas, Chile, guests are immediately immersed in the raw beauty of Antarctica’s spectacular landscapes. The next week will be spent exploring the Antarctic coastline and its offshore islands, landing ashore to roam freely amongst penguins, cruising past ice flows covered in seals, and photographing the magnificently shaped ice that dominates the scenery.

The New Year in Antarctica expedition starts in Punta Arenas, Chile on 25 December 2016 with a South American Christmas feast before flying to Antarctica on 26 December to board 54-passenger ship Polar Pioneer.
