Scenic invited a lucky group of six of their Diamond Elite travel agents to explore India. Starting in Delhi the agents travelled to Agra, Jaipur, Samode and Gurgaon for eight unforgettable days.

Starting their trip in Old Delhi they explored the city before visiting the inspiration for the Taj Mahal, Humayan’s tomb. Next they went to New Delhi to see the India Gate. Onto Agra, they went to the Tomb of I’timad-ud- Daulah known as the Baby Taj. Not far from the famous Taj Mahal, they stayed in a luxurious hotel, the Oberoi Amarvillas. After exploring the Taj Mahal at sunrise, the group travelled to the deserted red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar as his palace in the 16th century.

Continuing the trip to Jaipur they enjoyed a brand new Scenic Enrich experience – high tea inside the residence of the Royal Family Jaipur, an area not normally accessible to other tourists which overlooks the Old City.

Further outside of Jaipur they visited the striking 17th century hilltop Amber Fort then after a drive through rural India they arrived at the royal village of Samode set amidst fairy tale surroundings in the rugged northern Aravalli hills. Concluding their Indian journey in Gurgaon, the agents explored real village lifestyle during their village Jeep safari and enjoyed the magic of Indian cinema at a unique Bollywood-style stage show.
