Delta Air Lines has confirmed plans to introduce its top-of-the-line Delta One Suites and Delta Premium Select seating on the Australia route in 2019, “bringing more luxury, comfort and choice” to customers, however a specific start date is yet to be decided.

The upgrade comes as Delta takes delivery of additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft and refurbishes additional Boeing 777-200ER and LR jets.

Delta’s Los Angeles-Sydney route is one of five new trans-Pacific routes that will see the new and refurbished aircraft as part of “ongoing efforts to transform the customer experience at all points of the journey.”

Other routes on which Delta will launch its new pointy-end product include Minneapolis-Tokyo Haneda, Atlanta-Tokyo Narita, Seattle-Tokyo Narita and Los Angeles- Tokyo Haneda. See the schedule below.
