Hard-to-get-to locations in Jamaica, Honduras and Belize were accessed with ease for a group of travel advisors and executives, all first-time visitors to the Caribbean on the recent Scenic Eclipse VIP famil through the region. And while new destinations were ticked off the list of locations to explore, it was the ultra-luxury yacht itself and the facilities onboard that were the focus of this famil.

Led by Scenic’s Director, Trade Sales & Commercial Partnerships, Emma Davie, the nine famil participants from Australia and New Zealand, including LATTE, were privy to experience the full suite of restaurants onboard. The list included the Japanese fusion cuisine, teppanyaki and sushi at Kokos, French delicacies at Lumière, casual dining at Azure Bar & Cafe, the Epicure cooking school, the poolside Yacht Club and Elements, the Italian eatery which is also the venue of the Chef’s Table degustation extravaganza. It was at Elements that the group were also among the first to see a new Art Exhibition that had just been freshly installed by Scenic Group’s Project Director – Design, Karen Moroney.Karen and husband, Scenic Founder and Chairman, Glen, were on board for a few days of the Caribbean voyage and provided the group with access to hard-to-reach locations including the docking space for Scenic Eclipse‘s six-passenger submarine, Scenic Neptune.

Participants also were also provided access to the bridge with Captain Erwan L’Rouzic who explained his passion for this state-of-the-art and technology-leading yacht, and had the opportunity to attend the Cooking School under the direction of Executive Chef Tom Goetter. When not dining, advisors’ time was spent enjoying yoga and meditation classes or visiting the tranquil Espa sanctuary – home to both men’s and women’s saunas, steam rooms, vitality lounges, cold water plunge pool infrared sauna and outdoor pool.
