Brisbane travel company, Back Track Adventures, is capitalising on the surge in demand for unique domestic touring, unveiling a near $40K per person luxury itinerary.

The Australia: Secret and Sacred Sites journey takes in 10 Indigenous remote and spectacular locations in Queensland, the Northern Territory and South Australia via private plane. The entire trip takes 16 days and the tour is limited to eight guests.

A highlight of the itinerary will be exploring three states in one day. The morning starts in the Northern Territory, heads to Birdsville, Queensland for lunch and crosses over to Wilpena Pound in South Australia for dinner.

The one-off departure which coincides with the extended Year of Indigenous Tourism, starts in Brisbane on 2 July 2021. The itinerary encompasses (in order) Laura, Cooktown and Bamaga in Far North Queensland; Bremer Island, Bamurru Plains and Uluru in the NT; a whistle stop in Birdsville for a pub lunch; then Lake Eyre, the Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island is SA, before concluding in Adelaide.
