Azamara will return to South Africa this winter as the country reopens international cruising in South African waters and ports.
Azamara Pursuit will operate six back-to-back voyages from Cape Town from January to March 2022 and will resume pre- and post-cruise land explorations with luxury safari operator, Micato Safaris.

“A trip to Africa is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the kind of travel Azamara is known for, which is why I am so pleased to confirm our guests are now welcome back to South Africa following the reopening of its ports to international cruising,” said Azamara President, Carol Cabezas.
The voyages in South Africa will include 16-late nights and 11-overnights throughout the winter season, as well as five dedicated Country Intensive itineraries.
The itineraries include:
- 12-night South Africa Golf Voyage | Cape Town roundtrip | Departing 15 January 2022
- 12-night South African Intensive Voyage | Cape Town roundtrip | Departing 3 and 27 January, 8 and 20 February 2022
- 21-night Western Africa Voyage | Cape Town to Lisbon | Departing 4 March 2022
