PONANT has welcomed Kristina Sambaher to its Asia Pacific team as Business Development Manager for NSW and ACT. Sambaher brings extensive experience and a passion for sales strategy, client relationships and market innovation.
Her professional journey has spanned more than two decades within the travel industry, where she has excelled in creating and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue and achieve ambitious growth targets. Her track record demonstrates her ability to access new markets, foster strong relationships with key accounts and lead cross-functional teams to reach sales and operational objectives.

Sambaher was most recently a BDM with Azamara, a role she held for nearly four years. With other previous roles spanning industry brands such as Travelzoo and Flight Centre, Sambaher’s strength lies in her capability to leverage market research insights, tailoring offerings to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and brand loyalty.
In early October she embarked on a Kimberley expedition onboard Le Soléal, gaining first-hand experience of the breathtaking Kimberley region where PONANT stands as a pioneer. This experience not only enhances her understanding of the destination but also equips her to promote the PONANT product effectively ahead of the 2024 season.
