Tuan Sing Holdings to debut luxe hospitality venture in Perth

Hyatt Regency Perth to become Residence on Langley Park from 1 September

Singapore’s Tuan Sing Holdings Limited today revealed its intention for its high-end hotel asset in Perth, currently trading as the Hyatt Regency Perth. The company pulled back the curtain on its “luxury hospitality venture” for the property – which will be known as the Residence on Langley Park.

Last month, Tuan Sing Holding announced it had terminated its contract with Hyatt of Australia and Hyatt Services Australia for the property, effective 31 August – as reported by Singapore Business Review. The termination of the deal was reported to have cost the company about $2 million.

The 366-key hotel at 99 Adelaide Terrace is being repositioned and rebranded as part of Tuan Sing Holding’s long-term strategy to expand its Australian hospitality portfolio.

Effective 1 September, the property will be branded Residence of Langley Park, and has begun accepting bookings from today. It will be managed by Grand Hotel Group, a subsidiary of Tuan Sing Holdings.

“Operated by Residence on Langley Park Pty Ltd, the new offering will be a significant addition to the region’s hospitality scene,” Tuan Sing Holdings said on social media on Tuesday.

“Located in the heart of Perth CBD, it features a blend of hospitality and retail, setting a new benchmark in luxury and community engagement.”

According to its website, Tuan Sing Holdings’ other hospitality assets include the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and the Opus Bay urban resort under development at Sekupang in Indonesia.As a reference point, Hyatt Regency is positioned within the World of Hyatt’s Timeless Collection, which also includes the Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt brands.

In a statement, the Singapore-based company said the new venue aims to become a hub of activity for the Perth CBD, with a mixed of hospitality and retail offerings for guests and visitors alike.

“Residence on Langley Park represents the first stage of the site redevelopment work at 99 Adelaide Terrace, Perth.”

Residence on Langley Park will offer a variety of new luxury hospitality options catering for domestic and international travellers for short and long-term visitors.
