Travel advisors will now access separate booking portals for Hurtigruten and HX as Hurtigruten Group continues to differentiate the two brand identities.

Damian Perry, Managing Director for Hurtigruten Asia-Pacific said the recent move was another phase in the evolution towards completely independent companies by 2025.

“Our trade partners have been on this journey with us as we transition from Hurtigruten and HX being sister brands, to becoming separate entities,” Perry said.

“The two dedicated booking portals further signify to the travel industry that we have one cruise line that is the essence of ‘Norwegianess’ – Hurtigruten – and one that is the leader in expedition travel around the world: HX.”

Hurtigruten will continue at the current portal web address, agentportal.hurtigruten.com, while HX has a new portal address: agentportal.travelhx.com.

“Cruises and content for each brand will be available on each respective portal, with the caveat that both brands will appear in the ‘my bookings’ section until the back end of our systems are completely separated later this year. Advisors can use their existing username and password on both portals,” Perry explains.

HX also recently appointed Gebhard Rainer as its new CEO and adopted the new website domain of travelhx.com. Hedda Felin continues to be CEO of Hurtigruten, while Hurtigruten Group CEO Daniel Skjeldam will transition to a board member role.
