Champagne lovers are flocking to the InterContinental Singapore after the hotel launched the world’s first champagne drive-thru concept.
Instead of traditional drive-thru staples like burgers and fries, the Champagne Express Lane gives visitors the opportunity to choose from Singapore’s largest selection of world-class champagnes and caviar.
“True luxury can come in any form, and we live up to our promise to offer visitors unique and unexpected moments that spark joy in every way,” Andreas Kraemer, InterContinental Singapore General Manager said.
“We recently launched Singapore’s largest Champagne collection, making the hotel the true home of Champagne in Singapore.
“With the Champagne Express Lane, we want to marry the elegance and sophistication of our hotel with a concept that’s fun and exciting. It’s a playful twist on luxury that has never been seen before. It offers visitors from near or far a unique moment of indulgence in the most unconventional way.”

Whether customers pull up and select a bottle from the carefully curated menu or order online for a swift pick-up, they will all benefit from personalised service from the hotel’s on-hand butler who will deliver the bottle of bubbles straight to their car window in a bespoke take-away box.
Among the vintages in the collection are Dom Perignon, Charles Heidsieck, Dhondt Grellet, Jérôme Blin, Frédéric Savart and Chartogne-Taillet.
Guests wanting to further extend their champagne experience can opt to witness the art of sabrage each Thursday evening at The Lobby Lounge. As an Official Caveau by The Confrérie du Sabre d’Or, the hotel’s resident Maître-Sabreur will expertly open champagne bottles with a ceremonial sabre.
“As one of the key global markets for champagne and sparkling wines, Singapore continues to offer some of the world’s best experiences for wine enthusiasts and luxury travellers to enjoy,” Kraemer said.
“With a growing number of members-only wine clubs such as Tenuta by Park90, and most recently with global wine rating app Vivino opening its world’s first retail store in Raffles City, there is no doubt Singapore is among the world’s best destinations for champagne and fine wines.”
