The launch of an affiliate membership model by the Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) will enable hand-selected travel businesses to access its products, community and events.
Invitation-only, the new model has been designed as a comprehensive luxury extension for travel businesses with existing host agencies, or brand groups that may not require the complete suite of luxury travel services offered by LTC.
Last week saw Complex Travel Group, a member of Link Travel Group, become the first LTC affiliate, meaning it can now access LTC’s luxury product to meet the requirements of its newly launched Onboard Luxury brand, LTC GM Sales & Operations Nikki Glading explained.
“Affiliate membership is an excellent extension to an existing host membership for those businesses that already have strong, positive partnerships with host agencies, such as Complex and Link,” she said.
Meanwhile, LTC GM Brand Anna Burgdorf highlighted Travel Associates as the first wholly owned affiliate member of the Luxury Travel Collection.
“Travel Associates is the largest boutique luxury travel brand in AU & NZ and already has its own well-known and highly effective Marketing, Campaign and Product to Market team so did not require a full Membership of the Luxury Travel Collection,” she said.
“Where LTC delivers very tangible additional benefit to Travel Associates, is in our investment in an experienced luxury product and procurement team that has built an incredibly strong luxury house of products, our range of highly attractive Designed Itineraries and the stand-out Galeries de Luxe experiential range.”
The scheme is representative of LTC’s commitment to deliver bespoke solutions that “push the boundaries” of the existing market offerings, Bergdorf added.
