Belmond has unveiled the interiors of L’Observatoire, a new artist-designed carriage which will join its Venice Simplon-Orient Express in March 2025 as the most spacious and exclusive accommodation type on the train.

The “artwork in motion” has been designed by renowned artist JR and represents the first carriage designed by an artist on board. It is designed to “spark curiosity and a sense of wonder”.
