The Maison Barrière Vendôme, the new five-star hotel in Paris from Barrière Group, will act as a tribute to “extraordinary women” when it opens in January 2025.

Located between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries Gardens, the property is set within a fully redesigned private mansion with 10 rooms and 16 suites.

Each room is a tribute to female icons who have impacted history. The 27 women honoured by architect Danile Jibert include actress Sarah Bernhardt and novelist George Sand.

“Designed as a tribute to extraordinary women, this refined setting embodies the heritage and values of Barrière Hotels, creating a unique expression in the heart of Paris,” Barrière Hotels & Casinos VP Development Hotels Stephane Bhaghdassarian said.

“This opening reflects the Group’s commitment to expanding into iconic destinations and offering our clients a fresh vision of hospitality, where traditional expertise meets discreet luxury.”

Dining will take place at South American bar restaurant Frida which is located on the hotel’s first floor and opens out onto a secret garden.

The idea was first onceived by Corinne Evens, the owner of the mansion and the head of Evens Group.
