Broadway star Sutton Foster was aboard Cunard’s Queen Anne as the 2,000 guest ship made its Miami debut on Tuesday, marking its second stop in North America since its launch in May 2024.
The occasion was celebrated with a performance by the two-time Tony Award winner , who entertained the audience in the ship’s Royal Court Theatre.
Foster will also headline a special voyage during Queen Elizabeth‘s first Caribbean season, which will feature additional Broadway performers throughout the season.
“It was a true honour to perform on board Queen Anne during her first visit to Miami,” she said. “I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to sail and perform on board Queen Elizabeth during the ship’s first Caribbean season. It’s gratifying to see Cunard’s dedication for the performing arts, bringing their guests truly special entertainment experiences and I’m delighted to have asked to be a part of that.”

The cruise line is using Queen Anne’s Miami arrival to build excitement about the homeporting of Queen Elizabeth in the city from October – the first time in Cunard’s 185-year history that one of its ships will spend a full season in Miami. The Caribbean season will begin on October 16 with a 12-night roundtrip sailing from Miami which will visit Bridgetown’s UNESCO- listed Garrison as well as Castries in St Lucia.
Before that, the ship will undergo a significant refit from 25 February to 13 March in Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore.
“We were incredibly proud to be in Miami today to celebrate our new ship Queen Anne during her North America debut,” said Cunard President Katie McAlister. “We are equally excited to call Miami home when Queen Elizabeth begins her Caribbean season from this vibrant city later this year. We’re honored and excited to bring guests our signature White Star Service, and compelling entertainment, wellness, and culinary offerings to their Caribbean voyage experience.”
Queen Elizabeth’s program of roundtrip Caribbean voyages features itineraries ranging from nine to 28 nights. Guests will enjoy idyllic escapes to iconic destinations including Montego Bay in Jamaica, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and St John’s in Antigua.I am text block. Click edit button to change this text.
