Hurtigruten taps Eddy to spearhead APAC sales, trade p’ships

Adventure World’s Head of Sales returns to the sea

Hurtigruten has welcomed back Andrew Eddy to its Asia Pacific operation, recruiting him as Sales Director Asia Pacific (APAC). Eddy join’s Hurtigruten’s leadership team and has been tasked with spearheading the operator’s sales and partnerships.

Eddy’s appointment comes as Hurtigruten establishes a dedicated local leadership, management and support business for the APAC market, embracing the brand’s global mantra of ‘one company – one team’. The business will leverage the companies Norweigan DNA, history, operational expertise, stability, strength and professionalism to move the business forward.

2025 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Hurtigruten’s product expansion, product differentiation and positioning while leading the industry in innovative sustainability practices.

Eddy has a deep passion for innovative travel experiences, while maintaining his focus on the rising demand for more responsible and meaningful travel. A champion brand ambassador and experienced executive.

He brings his expertise and learning from his 15+ years in the industry, most recently, leading sales with the The Travel Corporation (TTC) soft-adventure organisation, Adventure World. Previoulsy, he had been with Hurtigruten Group for nearly four years, moving through the ranks from Key Account Manager to Regional Sales Manager AU/NZ and then National Key Account Manager, before joining Adventure World in May 2023.

Hurtigruten will benefit from the experience of a dedicated local APAC leadership and strategic team in partnership with its global team and operations headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
