Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has released a brand-new ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ itinerary along the Seine in 2025, complementing its existing Holiday Season program.
A seven-night holiday-themed journey, the cruise operates roundtrip from Paris aboard the S.S. Joie de Vivre, taking guests to the French countryside where they can enjoy exclusive visits to decorated châteaux, festive French Christmas markets and curated shopping experiences.
“The holidays are such a special time for families and loved ones to come together, and France is truly one of the most spectacular backdrops for a festive getaway,” said Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld. “For the 2025 season, we’re thrilled for guests to experience this new addition to our Holiday Collection. It’s a fresh way to experience this magical season aboard a decked-out floating boutique hotel that immerses guests in French holiday traditions.”

After departing Paris, the ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ travels to Versailles for a private tour, including access to secret apartments typically closed to the public. The sailing will stop in various cities, with itinerary highlights including a walking tour of Rouen, home to Monet’s studio; a visit to the Normandy Cider Farm; a private choral performance in Rouen Cathedral; and a ‘MAKE TRAVEL MATTER’ experience with a local family working to preserve a traditional style of broom weaving.
Other cruise highlights include a private reception at Château de Bizy and an exclusive Uniworld-only event at Château le Vaux le Vicomte, the inspiration for Versailles. A stable at this time of year are Europe’s iconic Christmas Markets, and Uniworld guests will explore various markets in Paris and the countryside where they can sample vin chaud (French mulled wine) and browse Christmas decorations, regional produce and specialties from all over the country.
Like all Uniworld cruises, this sailing aboard S.S. Joie de Vivre is inclusive of all meals, beverages and excursions outside of Masterpiece Collection options.

The ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ sailing joins a growing list of new offerings for 2025, including six additional European itineraries, themed voyages such as the ‘Women-Only Cruise,’ the inaugural sailing of the S.S. Elisabeth and more. The itinerary will have four departures in both 2025 and 2026, beginning in November.
Prices start at AU$7,899 per person twin share.

Meanwhile, Uniworld has opened bookings for its 2026 Rivers of the World (ROTW) cruise – a 50-day itinerary aboard five ships.
Four of the sailings on the ROTW are in Europe, one of which is a ‘Mystery Voyage’, and the fifth cruise in is Egypt. As LATTE flagged first in August 2024, a logical itinerary marrying up the first and third sailings could be Uniworld’s 8-day Castles Along the Rhine itinerary, which pairs seamlessly with the first cruise that concludes in Amsterdam. Previously earmarked to be operated onboard S.S. Catherine, that itinerary on 26 April 2026 is now scheduled to cruise on S.S. Elisabeth which launches later year.
